Dr. Anton Reece is a nationally known educator, life coach, trainer, strategic planner, motivational and empowerment speaker with a passion to mentor transformational leaders. As a college president he is transparent about the preparation needed to face life's inevitable challenges and opportunities for anyone seeking leadership roles.

​Dr. Anton R. Reece, President and CEO of West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) has served 30 years in higher education and communications. He has experience in higher education, leadership training, communication, including public speaking, marketing, broadcasting news, television, and radio. Dr. Reece hails from the Caribbean nation of Barbados and a graduate of The Lodge High School. He is an honors graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting News, a Master of Arts in Counseling Student Personnel from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Research at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. Dr. Reece was a scholarship athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and the 1982 Hampton Games International gold medalist in the triple jump, held in Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Reece believes that athletics provides life skills of discipline, resiliency, and teamwork.
